About me
My practice is grounded in the Phenomenological-Existential approach, which honours the uniqueness of each person and their individual needs. In this space, every experience is received with respect, free from labels or diagnoses, allowing for a genuine encounter with yourself.
Psychotherapy has the potential to create a unique relationship where the stories we carry about ourselves and the world can be examined and questioned, supporting a person in stepping back from the weight of past experiences and opening up new ways of being.
Existential Psychotherapy is a path for those motivated to take an active part in their own change, understanding that profound transformation does not come from quick answers or ready-made solutions.
Sessions are conducted in Portuguese and English.

The first session is a space for mutual acquaintance. We will explore what has brought you to psychotherapy and gain some understanding of your personal history. Together, we will identify your expectations of the therapeutic process and the goals you hope to achieve, considering how those goals might guide our work together. It is also an opportunity to clarify how the therapeutic relationship works in practice, and to make space for any questions or doubts you may have about the process.
Psychotherapy is a gradual process of personal exploration and transformation — it is not an immediate crisis intervention, nor does it replace psychiatric or medical care. If you are experiencing acute distress or an emergency, support resources are available.
